Before recapping what happened last Sunday(26/10), there is an announcement.

There will be no food poll this week as we are going to have buffet lunch for this coming Sunday because of My Hope Singapore and money collected last Sunday will be chipped in for the buffet. And there will be a change of how the lunch money is collected, so please take note (especially lunch reps). When lunch reps are collecting money on that Sunday, the money for lunch will be for that Sunday not for the next week. If you don’t understand, NEH MIND, Ethel will kindly explain and remind you again.

With all these said, let’s get into what happened last Sunday.

You guys chose “Surprise Me” for lunch and Ethel was in a dilemma whether to order lunch or NOT. But since Ethel was thoughtful and cared about your hungry stomachs, she ordered chicken rice for lunch.

HEE.

And after that, we prayed among ourselves before YM started for those taking the major exams and Yajun’s mother. Remember to continue keeping them in prayer and to give them our encouragement.

And during YM, we had our YMLs protesting for freedom.

What exactly is this freedom?

Freedom is… is an event held in 3 Sundays; 16th, 23rd and 30th of Nov. For more information, CLICKKYY HEREE.

And we concluded our “Bible Characters Who Experienced God” lessons with studying the last two books of Jonah by Zhehao.

We learnt about Jonah’s narcissistic righteousness, priorities and affection and at the same time we learnt about understanding God’s compassionate and merciful heart; how we should look to God’s mercy, look beyond ourselves and look through God’s eyes. For  yourself, what have you learn? What are your reflections and thoughts? Are there anything hindering us from evangelism? From sharing to others who we think are less deserving?

A quiz was then held by the camp committee to introduce the 2008’s year end YM camp followed by a very… interesting and positive song about the camp.

But ANYWAYS, this year’s YM camp is called camp GAMpong S.A.F. Held from 5th-8th Dec at Fairy Point Chalet 6.
