Heyyyyy! (I realised for the last 3 posts, it was “Helloooo”. Hence, a “Hey” this time)

HEYYY again!!

How’s the neeeew year coming along? For the sec ONEs, are you getting along with your neeew friends in your neeew school?

Well, on Sunday, we had a special buffet-ish lunch to ‘welcome’ our new sec ONEs.

And of course.. It came with a price.. So please bring an additional $2.50 every sunday if you want to EAT.

After lunch, we gathered in the sanctuary to welcome our 2 newcomers!

And and and.. Our dear sec ONEs! We had them and their neeew buddies to play a game where they picked random numbers and had to do what was said.

Ohhhh.. These two had to stuff marshmellows into their mouths and say “Chubby Bunny”. They looked like they were enjoying the marshmellows. Man, I wish someone would stuff marshmellows into my mouth.. Just kiddinggg! Anyway, Shuyi had 2 marshmellows in her mouth while Tom had 6.

Then then then.. We all had fun playing this mini game where we had to ask someone to write down on our sheet of paper an interesting fact about him/herself.

After making new friends and stuffs, we had worship!! We sang quite a few songs and then Pastor Kelvin came to talk to us about “A NEW YEAR’s RESOLUTION WORTH KEEPING!”

Have we all remembered what are the 5 steps we are going to take to fulfill our resolutions?

1. Honour –
2. Grow –
3. Build -
4. Serve -
5. Reach -

Pastor Kelvin also told us the 3 things that are required if we want to fulfil our resolutions.

• Passionate Conviction ( 1 Peter 4: 1-2;  John 14: 21 )
• Spiritual Reliance ( John 14: 14 )
• Prayerful Support & Encouragement ( Ephesians 6: 18;  Hebrews 10: 24-25 )
